When I Look at the Stars

The other night, I had the extreme pleasure of driving from Des Moines to Omaha in a convertible at night.

Let me tell you, it was an amazing experience.

Of course, when driving, it’s customary to keep one’s eyes on the road, but every once-in-a-while, I was able to look up and catch a glimpse of the stars above me.
Especially when I was far enough away from both cities, the stars looked so bright and crisp against the dark, deep blue background of the night sky.

What’s more, the stars that I saw in Des Moines were the same stars I saw all the way back to Omaha.
Truly amazing.

We live in this gigantoid universe built by a god who is so creative, he created more stars than we can even possibly fathom.

And it doesn’t stop with the stars, man. God is bigger than space!
I mean, this may seem like kind of a duh-thing, but if you stop and think about it for a minute, it’s crazy!
God is amazing. And crazy. And everywhere.

But I still only see the shooting stars with Christine.
